Jerusalem, Israel – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara, met today with recently freed hostage Tal Shoham, who described the difficulties he endured while held captive in Gaza.

According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office, Shoham emphasized “the cruel psychological warfare inflicted upon them by Hamas terrorists.”

The two also discussed the harrowing ordeal of hostages Guy Gilboa-Dalal and Evyatar David, who were forced by Hamas terrorists to attend a staged ceremony last month, where they were made to watch the release of Shoham and other captives while they remained in captivity.

“The Prime Minister and his wife listened as Tal recounted the hardships he and his fellow captives endured, as well as the suffering that hostages continue to experience daily,” the statement said.

Shoham was accompanied by his wife, Adi, and their two young children, who were also kidnapped by Hamas but released separately in November 2023.

“The Prime Minister reaffirmed that efforts and actions to secure the release of all hostages—both the living and the fallen—continue relentlessly and without pause,” the statement concluded.
