Holocaust denier and rabid antisemite Nick Fuentes may soon be allowed back on X.
“Very well, he will be reinstated, provided he does not violate the law, and let him be crushed by the comments and Community Notes. It is better to have anti whatever out in the open to be rebutted than grow simmering in the darkness,” X owner Elon Musk stated on Thursday in response to one of Fuentes’ fans.
As per the Daily Beast, Fuentes has been banned from X since July 2021. Known for his racist and antisemitic views, he attended the Charlottesville neo-Nazi rally in 2017 and was present during the January 6 insurrection at the Capitol building in 2021.
Fuentes has been on the record saying that improving the rights of women and LGBTQ+ people constitutes the “bastardized Jewish subversion of the American creed,” and “perfidious Jews must be absolutely annihilated” for suppressing Christianity.
In January 2023, Fuentes was briefly unsuspended from X for a single day before being promptly banned again. According to the report, Fuentes had shared several antisemitic comments and a video promoting Kanye West’s 2024 presidential campaign, which included one of the rapper’s virulent antisemitic tweets.
