Macklemore released a new song on Tuesday expressing his support for pro-Hamas demonstrations that have been sweeping college campuses across the globe.

The music video titled “Hind’s Hall” opens with a shot of defaced steps at the University of Ottawa bearing a spray-painted message reading “Free Palestine.” Macklemore then launches into the lyrics, referencing the building at Columbia University that pro-Hamas student sympathizers occupied and renamed “Hind’s Hall” in honor of Hind Rajab, a six-year-old Gazan girl allegedly killed by Israeli forces in February.

“The people, they won’t leave. What is threatening about divesting and wanting peace? The problem isn’t the protests, it’s what they’re protesting. It goes against what our country is funding. Block the barricade until Palestine is free,” he raps.

Macklemore also addressed the fact that anti-Zionism is inherently anti-Semitic, countering, “Claimin’ it’s anti-Semitic to be anti-Zionist. I’ve seen Jewish brothers and sisters out there and ridin’ in. Solidarity and screamin’ ‘Free Palestine’ with them.”

Elsewhere in the music video, the Seattle-based rapper blames President Joe Biden for supporting Israel’s right to defend itself, saying, “The blood is on your hands, Biden, we can see it all,” Macklemore asserts. “And f\*\*\* no, I’m not voting for you in the fall.”

In an Instagram post announcing the video, Macklemore wrote that all proceeds from the antisemitic song would be donated to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), a ‘humanitarian’ organization accused of having deep ties to Hamas.
