Israel President Issac Herzog shared chilling footage on Wednesday showing the capture of 34-year-old Yarden Bibas 194 days ago.
“The world must not remain silent in the face of such crimes. Bring them home now!” Herzog captioned the disturbing video on X.
The short clip depicts a bloody Bibas being kidnapped by Hamas terrorists on a motorcycle as a large crowd surrounds him, photographing and abusing the father of two young boys.
Yarden Bibas and his wife Shiri, 32, and their two sons Kfir, 1, and Ariel, 4, were among the 230 Israelis and foreign nationals whom Hamas kidnapped on October 7.
The last public sighting of the Bibas family came in February when the Israeli military released security camera footage from Oct. 7, showing Shiri and her boys alive in Gaza’s Khan Younis.
While Hamas claimed in late November that Shiri and the two children had been killed, the terrorist group failed to provide any evidence to corroborate this assertion, leading Israel to reject the unsubstantiated claim swiftly. In a cruel move, Hamas even released a separate video of the captive Yarden after allegedly informing him of the purported deaths of his wife and sons, compounding the anguish for the Bibas family.
