A hacker group identified as “Gaza4Ever” has broken into a Be’er Sheva soccer team’s website and posted messages in support of Hamas, reports Ynet.

“Gaza won and its heroes obtained the greatest miracles. Netanyahu and the generals were defeated, and with them all of their Arab partners and their armies,” read Hapoel Be’er Sheva’s website on Wednesday.

Be’er Sheva’s soccer team has been targeted by Hamas sympathizers before. Three weeks after the Hamas massacre in October, the club’s website, along with those of Maccabi Tel Aviv and Maccabi Netanya, reportedly fell victim to a similar cyberattack.

These cyber-attacks have been part of a larger trend against Israel by hacker groups associated with Iran, Hezbollah, and Hamas.

According to a recent report published by Israel’s National Cyber Directorate, over 15 such groups have been engaged in cyber-attacks against Israel since Oct 7. Most of these groups share intelligence, methods, and tools with each other. The principal targets of these attacks have included healthcare organizations, transportation systems, maritime shipping sectors, as well as organizations that serve as concentration points for social activity.
