A high-ranking Hamas leader has been eliminated, local Israeli news outlets report.

Reports suggest the IDF targeted a building near the Nusirat refugee camp in central Gaza, acting on intelligence that Hamas leader Marwan Issa  was hiding. The strike resulted in the deaths of five terrorists, with investigations underway to confirm if Issa was among them. As of now, neither Israeli nor Arab officials have provided confirmation.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hinted on Monday that a top-level Hamas operative had been killed, though he did not specify that it was Issa.

“We are on the way to total victory. On the way to this victory, we already eliminated number four in Hamas. Three, two, and one are on the way,” Netanyahu said in a video statement.

“They are all dead men, we will reach them all,” he warned.

Joining Hamas at a young age, Issa has been known to keep a low profile and has rarely ever been seen in public. He is reported to have been heavily involved in planning the October 7 massacre with fellow terror leaders Muhammed Deif and Yahya Sinwar. He was imprisoned for five years in Israel for terror-related activities and was also detained by the Palestinian Authority before being released at the start of the Second Intifada.

  1. of course like your website however you have to check the spelling on quite a few of your posts. Many of them are rife with spelling issues and I find it very bothersome to inform the reality however I’ll certainly come back again.
