Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Chief of Staff Mohammad Bagheri announced on Sunday that Iran’s retaliatory strikes against Israel have “reached all its goals” and that “no further operations are planned,” according to Iran’s state-run Tasnim News Agency. Bagheri also warned that if the “Zionist regime or its supporters engage in reckless behavior, they will face a decisive and much stronger response.”

Meanwhile, Israeli officials are urging Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to retaliate against Iran for an attack that could have caused significant damage if not for the defenses of Israel and its allies.

“Impressive defense so far – now we need a crushing attack,” stated National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, while fellow right-wing Knesset member Miki Zohar declared, “Israel has received broad international legitimacy to strike Iran with unprecedented force. The extremist regime there has taken its gloves off, and we must not be lax against the head of the snake that is working to destroy Israel.”

The US, for its part, has cautioned Israel against taking any retaliatory action against Iran, fearing it may further escalate an already volatile Middle-East conflict. During his phone conversation with Netanyahu yesterday, Biden made it clear to the Israeli premier that any such move would not be supported by the US despite their “ironclad” backing.
