Three yeshiva students were killed and three others were injured in a car accident in the Samaria region early Wednesday morning.

Initial reports indicate that their vehicle lost control, struck a guardrail, and overturned into a valley near Beit-El. When rescue teams arrived at the scene, they found three students dead. A 16-year-old is in serious condition with head and chest trauma, and two others are reported to be in moderate condition.

“This was a very serious accident in which the car hit the barrier and fell into the wadi. When we arrived on scene, we found the car with significant damage and the injured men lying next to it. Three men of about 20 were unconscious and with no pulse or breathing. We performed medical tests but they were declared dead on scene,” MDA Paramedic Nadav Taib said.

“Another injured 16-year-old youth was stuck in the car and was unconscious and suffering from traumatic blows. We provided lifesaving treatment and transferred him to hospital in a Mobile Intensive Care Unit in serious condition. Two others were evacuated from the car in moderate condition.”

The victims have been identified as Matityahu Bezanson, Meir Fisher, and Nachman Wozne. They had been returning home from saying prayers at the graves of local rabbis prior to the crash. Investigations are ongoing into why the driver lost control of the vehicle.
