Two Arab terrorists were neutralized by IDF soldiers near Hebron early Sunday morning.
According to the IDF, the incident occurred at the Beit Einun Intersection, where one of the terrorists attempted to stab soldiers while the other opened fire on them. The soldiers responded to the attack, successfully neutralizing both terrorists. No Israeli soldiers or civilians were reported injured during the dangerous encounter.
Meanwhile, in the nearby Arab village of Nur-Shams in Judea and Samaria, IDF soldiers have wrapped up a large-scale counter-terrorism operation. During the operation, which lasted more than 40 hours, Israeli forces also destroyed a bomb-making lab and confiscated numerous explosives and firearms. Ten Arab terrorists were killed, and eight suspects were arrested during the military operation. Eight IDF soldiers and one Border Police officer were wounded on the Israeli side.
WAFA reports that among those killed was Muhammad Jaber, a senior Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist who served as the commander of the PIJ’s Tulkarem wing. In Fatah has called for a general strike and an escalation in violence against Israel.
Hamas also echoed Fatah’s calls on its official Telegram channel, stating, “We mobilize our Palestinian people stationed to ignite confrontations with the criminal Zionist occupation in all areas of the confrontations in the West Bank and Jerusalem in response to the criminal massacre in the Noor-al-Shams camp in Tulkarm.”
