Renowned Hollywood director Quentin Tarantino was harassed by an anti-Israel fanatic while dining at a New York City restaurant over the weekend.

According to the New York Post, the female agitator known as “Crackhead Barney” on Instagram, barged into the Chelsea eatery Che Li on Saturday and launched into an unhinged antisemitic tirade against the Oscar-winner.

“Quentin Tarantino!” she yelled. “Why are you a Zionist piece of s–t?”

As Tarantino attempted to leave, he was swarmed by a larger group of pro-Hamas demonstrators chanting “Free Palestine.” He had to be escorted by his driver through the hostile mob to safely reach his vehicle.

The Pulp Fiction director has made no secret of his staunch support for Israel, particularly in the wake of Hamas’ unprovoked attack that claimed over 1,200 Israeli lives on October 7. Just days after those devastating attacks, Tarantino traveled to southern Israel to boost morale by meeting IDF soldiers at a military base.

While the anti-Israel movement frequently paints support for the Jewish state as a biased political stance, the director’s personal concern for Israel transcends surface-level geopolitical diatribe. In 2018, Tarantino married Israeli singer Daniella Pick, with whom they share two children. With a house in Tel Aviv, his family is deeply embedded within the nation’s social fabric.
