Plans to assassinate Ben Gvir with an RPG missile were discovered during the arrests of the terror cell’s seven members. In addition, Bilal Nassara, the head of the terror cell, revealed during interrogations that he had further plans to execute terror attacks in Israel, including attacks against IDF bases, Ben Gurion Airport, and the government complex in Jerusalem.

Ben-Gvir has been a controversial figure in Israeli politics.

Known for his far-right views, Ben-Gvir is also the leader of the Otzma Yehudit (Jewish Power) party. His political actions and statements are criticized for exacerbating tensions, particularly amid the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, raising concerns about their impact on an already volatile situation.
