The Obama-Biden administration may have sacrificed American national security on the altar of political expediency, as shocking new revelations expose a scheme to obstruct FBI efforts to arrest high-risk Iranian suspects.

Recently unclassified internal FBI emails obtained by Sens. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) show how then-Secretary of State John Kerry prioritized appeasing Tehran over the safety and security of the American people. Kerry repeatedly halted FBI arrest operations against individuals linked to Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile programs in order to further negotiations on the now-failed Iran nuclear deal.

Perhaps most shockingly, the released records reveal that between 2015 and 2016, the Obama-Biden controlled State Department forced the FBI to stand down on arrests in eight cases, one of which involved an Iranian subject on the Terrorism Watch List, due to “on-going politics.”

Kerry’s realpolitik led the FBI to determine they would “have to sit back and wait until all the US and Iran negotiations resolve themselves” before arresting the Iranians, effectively allowing these dangerous individuals .

The senators also called into question the failure of the FBI and Justice Department, under the leadership of then-Director James Comey and then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch, to put a stop to Kerry’s political interference. This apparent complicity raises serious concerns about the integrity and independence of these key law enforcement agencies during the Obama-Biden administration.
